Chargers Check the model number of any charger before using it with this device. The headset is intended for use with the AC-3, AC-4, and DC-4 chargers. Warning: Use only chargers approved by Nokia for use with this particular enhancement. The use of any other types may invalidate any approval or warranty, and may be dangerous. When you disconnect the power cord of any enhancement, grasp and pull the plug, not the cord. 5 Get started Charge the battery This device has an internal, nonremovable, rechargeable battery. Do not attempt to remove the battery from the device as you may damage the device. If charging does not start, disconnect the charger, plug it in again, and retry. When the battery is fully charged, the green indicator light is displayed. To reject an incoming call, pull the boom down and push it up immediately, or briefly press the answer/end key twice. To end a call, push the boom up to its initial position, press the answer/ end key, or use the phone keys. Adjust the earphone volume Press the volume key up to increase or down to decrease the volume. To adjust the volume quickly, press and hold the key in the desired direction. Mute or unmute the microphone To mute or unmute the microphone during a phone call, briefly press the middle of the volume key. When the microphone is muted, the blue indicator light flashes continuously. The mute function cannot be used during a PTT call. Push to talk (PTT) calls You can use the headset to make and receive push to talk (PTT) calls. To use this network service, your phone must support it and the function must be set to on in the phone. For more information on the PTT function, contact your network operator or service provider and see the user guide of your compatible phone. To make a PTT call to the default PTT channel defined in your phone, press and hold the middle of the volume key (while no call is in progress) as long as you speak. When you receive a PTT call while no call is in progress, the headset beeps, and you start to hear speech from the channel. To answer and speak to the listened channel within the time defined by the network operator or service provider, press and hold the middle of the volume key as long as you speak.
